FDA "Fresh Empire" Campaign!

FDA announced the launch of “Fresh Empire,” a national multi-platform public education campaign aimed at multicultural youth aged 12-17 who identify with hip-hop culture. The campaign highlights how values of hip-hop culture, such as creativity, confidence, and individuality, are consistent with a tobacco-free lifestyle. “We know from our research that remaining in control is an important pillar of hip-hop culture,” says Mitch Zeller, director of FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products. “The ‘Fresh Empire’ campaign underscores that important message to hip-hop youth, empowering this at-risk peer crowd to live tobacco free.”
