FDA Center for Tobacco Products recognizes the public health milestones achieved since the Tobacco Control Act was signed into law in 2009. This anniversary underscores the Center’s accomplishments in enforcing tobacco sale and marketing regulations, launching youth-targeted national public education campaigns, executing a scientific premarket review process for marketing of new tobacco products, and finalizing the deeming rule.
