• FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb announced a draft guidance to support the development of novel nicotine replacement therapies.
• Research published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that FDA’s campaign, The Real Cost, has prevented almost 350,000 youth from initiating smoking, resulting in savings of $31 billion.
• FDA updated informational webpages for its Comprehensive Plan for Tobacco and Nicotine Regulation and Youth Tobacco Prevention Plan to include recent regulatory actions and milestones.
