The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Office on Smoking and Health just released an updated version of its Best Practices User Guide on Youth Engagement in Tobacco Prevention and Control, or Youth Engagement User Guide. This User Guide was written in partnership with the Center for Public Health Systems Science at Washington University in St. Louis.

The updated Youth Engagement User Guide focuses on the critical role youth can have in achieving your program’s tobacco prevention and control goals. Youth bring energy and enthusiasm to tobacco control efforts. They play a vital role in educating the public and mobilizing their peers to push strategies forward.
