2021 Tips®.

2021 marks the 10th anniversary of the Tips® campaign. The 2021 Tips® campaign media buy begins on Monday, March 1st and it will run through September 26th (30 weeks, with 3 of those off air). Tips® ads will be placed on national TV and additional ads will be placed in 27 local markets (plus Guam) with higher smoking prevalence. Ads will also run nationally on streaming radio and on digital properties.

  • Similar to previous years, CDC is planning promotions for nicotine replacement therapy during the media buy.
  • To reach African American, Hispanic, Asian, American Indian/Alaska Native, and LGBTQ audiences, CDC will place additional media on a variety of focused channels, including TV, print, and digital.
