The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) is pleased to share a collection of youth tobacco cessation resources intended to help parents, educators, healthcare professionals and others who work with young people find the latest information, resources, and programs on youth tobacco cessation. The resources were identified and compiled by the Youth Tobacco Cessation Working Group—comprised of partner organizations working across medicine and public health to help prevent youth tobacco use and support youth cessation efforts. The Working Group was established following the 2019 National Partner Meeting with representation from American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, MD Anderson Cancer Center, American College of Preventive Medicine, North American Quitline Consortium, American Academy of Pediatrics, TRUTH Initiative, SelfMade Health Network, Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, as well as engagement from CDC’s Office on Smoking and Health.
