CDC feature article highlights Pride Month and the importance of giving
everyone a chance at a smokefree life. Pride Month is celebrated annually in
June to achieve equal justice and equal opportunity for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,
Transgender, Queer, and Questioning (LGBTQ) Americans. While living a smokefree
life can mean quitting smoking or not starting to smoke, it also means
protecting yourself and others from secondhand smoke.
