Deadline of April 28 - PCD Collection Call for Papers: From Data to Action.

Preventing Chronic Disease welcomes submissions for its upcoming collection, "From Data to Action: National, State, and Local Efforts to End Commercial Menthol and Other Flavored Tobacco Product Use." This collection seeks to: 1) describe the public health burden of menthol and other flavored tobacco products among population groups disproportionately affected by its use; and 2) highlight the planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes of activities by the NTCP, tribes, communities, and partners to reduce the use of menthol and other flavored tobacco products to protect those at increased risk for tobacco-related disease and death.

Timeline:

• Submit inquiries to the journal at PCDeditor@cdc.gov for feedback on or before April 14, 2023.
• Papers are due to OSH for review and feedback by April 28, 2023, and sent to oshpcdmenthol@cdc.gov.
• Papers a due to the journal by August 15, 2023.
