E-Cigarette Sales Data Briefs.

CDC Foundation has released new e-cigarette sales data in a National brief and a State brief with sales by e-cigarette flavor and device type through March 2023. The state brief shows that following California's flavored e-cigarette restrictions, monthly e-cigarette total unit sales decreased by 35.2% from December 4, 2022 to March 26, 2023 (from 785.1 thousand to 509.1 thousand). This decline represents 27.8% (i.e., 276.1 thousand units out of 992.5 thousand units) of the decline in national e-cigarette sales that occurred during this period.
