The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) is excited to share its newly released resource! By forging partnerships with local organizations to address and reduce menthol and flavored tobacco product use in marginalized communities, eight state health teams found community engagement to be the key to tobacco control. Learn about the successes and lessons learned from ASTHO's Increasing State Menthol Capacity Learning Collaborative, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Office of Smoking and Health and in partnership with The Center for Black Health & Equity: Engaging Communities Is a Critical Tobacco Control Strategy.
