CDC’s Office on Smoking and Health released a new Preventing Chronic Disease Collection, titled “From Data to Action: National, State & Local Efforts to End Menthol and Other Flavored Commercial Tobacco Product Use.” The collection includes a guest editorial and 9 articles that cover public health’s role in reducing tobacco-related morbidity and mortality, review surveillance data regarding menthol and other flavored tobacco products, and show examples of state and local activities related to this. These activities show evidence-based examples of tobacco interventions that states, counties, cities, localities, and tribes can promote and implement. Learn more.
