The U.S. Congress recently passed a continuing resolution to fund the federal government through the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025. The resolution maintains funding at 2024 levels but includes some adjustments, such as increased allocations for defense and veterans' healthcare. It also rescinds certain funds, like $20.2 billion from the IRS, and eliminates earmarked projects from previous appropriations.
