A new research letter titled “Vaping Cessation Methods Used by Adolescents” was published online on July 7th in JAMA Pediatrics. The authors aimed to describe rates of vaping, quit attempts, and quit methods used among adolescents aged 15 to 17 years. They found that in recent years, approximately half of adolescents who vape made a past-year quit attempt although few used NRT, a prescription medication, or a cessation app to help them quit. The full research letter can be read online here.
