The National Partnership on Behavioral Health and Tobacco Use, co-founded by the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center, unites leaders from tobacco control, public health, and behavioral health sectors to address disparities in commercial tobacco use and expand access to cessation treatment for people with behavioral health conditions across the United States. The Communications Workgroup of the National Partnership has developed a new educational resource—a ready-to-use PowerPoint slide deck designed to help presenters inform audiences about the harms of tobacco, highlight treatment resources for individuals with behavioral health conditions, and reference credible, evidence-based sources. Presenters can easily customize the content by selecting individual slides or presenting the full deck. This effort was made possible through the collaboration of the National Partnership Communications Workgroup members, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Alliance on Mental Illness, National Association of Social Workers, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
