CDC Foundation’s Monitoring Tobacco Project has released updated e‑cigarette sales data, visualizations, and briefs with national and state‑level trends from February 2019–March 2026. Disposable e‑cigarettes and non‑tobacco flavored products continue to dominate sales in convenience and grocery stores, suggesting that restrictions exempting certain flavors or product types may shift sales to the products and flavors that remain on the market.

Flavored products

  • By March 22, 2026, non‑tobacco flavors accounted for 79.4% of total e‑cigarette unit sales.
